Digital Painting of "The Faun" from Pan's Labyrinth - 2020
The below images show my process for creating a digital painting.
Before starting, I make sure my image is clear and I have the right brush.
I generally start painting an eye, then make my way out from there. I copy some of the shading and colours from the original photograph and blend it together to form a small part of the facial features. It's a time consuming process but I feel the end results are worth it.
For hair, I sometimes create my own brush to get the fine lines the way I want them.
After completing the painting portion, I move on to adding a grain over top or any other filter to make the painting more realistic.
Posters & Digital Magazine Pages

Some of the most enjoyable work for me has been incorporating typography with graphic design. I like to experiment with different styles while still sticking to a natural flow and balance with my design.
